The proper location of the steering shaft and the center of the steering wheel must be considered all throughout the project from early chassis design to the final interior touch. The location of the dash, the driver’s seat, the pedals, the shifter, the gauges, and the rear view mirrors, all depend on the proper location in relation to the steering wheel.
