OR SALE:  This is a REPLICA 2001 Aston Martin Vanquish built on the chassis of a 1998 Jaguar XK8. The Jaguar had only 43,700 miles on it when it was damaged in the rear and I bought it as the donor car for this project. It is smooth, powerful, quiet, and luxurious -- everything the running chassis should be for a replica of this quality. I have taken this project to about 95% completion. It needs some time and small investment to get it to 100%: adjust the headlights and install the headlight covers (I have them); the convertible top now works only manually. It was working before, so a switch or relay or something similar has failed. I had it in a Jaguar shop; they told me the convertible pump motor was weak, so I replaced that and confirmed that it works; that's the most expensive piece in the system, so it shouldn't cost a lot to get the top working properly. The trunk latch needs to be adjusted to latch properly. The hood is heavy and a little hard to open. I have some springs to pop it up and make it easier; those need to be installed. A few similar small items of cleanup and touch-up. The car runs, drives, shifts and handles beautifully. It has Michelin tires and factory Aston Martin wheels. It's going to be a real head-turner for someone, and a joy to drive. It will be delivered with a Florida salvage title (for the Jaguar), so you'll need to check with your local DMV to determine the process for getting it titled in your state. I have all of the receipts from the construction and assembly. Price REDUCED NOW ONLY $14,900 Location: Aiken, South Carolina Email:  -Dan
